Growatt energy storage
Shop Growatt SPH 10kW and 18kW hybrid inverters, modular ALP 48V LFP batteries and complete low-voltage storage systems. Compare residential backup, generator-ready, off-grid and supported three-phase configurations without mixing them with the APX high-voltage platform.
Select by application first. Final equipment, firmware, protection and code requirements must be confirmed for the exact project.
Residential hybrid
A cost-effective 120/240V split-phase path for solar, battery backup and generator-supported homes.
Higher-load home
For larger HVAC, well-pump and household loads that need more inverter output.
Battery expansion
Start with a small LFP bank and expand within the approved ALP architecture as energy needs grow.
Small commercial
Three matched SPH units can serve supported 208V three-phase projects such as farms, stores and schools.

Capacity note: Growatt lists the ALP platform at 5–320kWh. The products shown here are common 5–30kWh packages; larger systems require the correct parallel architecture, controls, conductors and engineered protection.
ALP is Growatt's modular low-voltage LFP battery platform. The US ALP 5.0L-E2 module uses a 48V-class architecture, an IP66 enclosure and closed-loop communication with supported Growatt inverters.
Growatt lists the ALP platform from 5kWh to 320kWh. Common residential stacks on this page are 5–30kWh. Larger parallel systems require the approved battery layout, cables, controls and an engineered design.
ALP is a 48V low-voltage battery used with compatible low-voltage hybrid and off-grid inverters. APX is a high-voltage battery for compatible battery-ready inverter families such as MIN XH-US. They are not interchangeable.
SPH supports Growatt ALP and other documented 40–60V lithium batteries; supported configurations may also use lead-acid batteries. Closed-loop lithium operation requires a compatible CAN or RS485 protocol, firmware and communication cable.
Growatt documents lithium and lead-acid support for this low-voltage inverter class. Battery settings, charge current, temperature compensation and low-voltage limits must be configured for the exact battery chemistry.
Choose 10kW when the backed-up load calculation and motor-starting requirements fit within its output. Choose 18kW for larger simultaneous household loads. Battery discharge capability must be sufficient for the selected inverter.
Supported SPH configurations can use up to six matched units in parallel. Use identical compatible models and firmware with the required parallel equipment, and follow the current Growatt design and commissioning documentation.
A supported design can use three matched SPH units to form a three-phase system for selected small commercial applications. This is an engineered configuration; confirm voltage, phasing, controls, protection and utility requirements before purchase.
Supported SPH models include generator input and can use generator power for loads and battery charging. Generator voltage, frequency, waveform quality and charge-current settings must remain within the inverter's requirements.
Specific SPH and ALP equipment combinations are offered as UL 9540 system configurations. Certification is model-specific, so confirm the inverter, battery modules and accessories against the current listing used by the permitting authority.
