The aPower 2 battery

The FranklinWH aPower 2 is a cutting-edge second-generation home energy battery within the FranklinWH energy ecosystem, with high-capacity 15 kWh AC-coupled home battery designed for whole-home backup, solar energy storage, time-of-use optimization, and off-grid-ready applications.

Each aPower 2 delivers 10 kW continuous output, up to 15 kW peak power for 10 seconds, and 25 kW transient load capacity for 1 second. With Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery chemistry and expansion up to 225 kWh with 15 units per aGate, the aPower 2 is built for both everyday energy management and demanding backup loads. Whether powering a home, a small business, or even a farm, the system can dynamically adjust to align with your evolving energy needs without overhauling your system.

• Smart Circuits Module
  Manual or scheduled control over unique individual electric circuits connected with particular devices, managed via the FranklinWH App.
• Generator Module
  Integrate generators into home power supply, alongside aPower, solar systems, and the grid. This module also supports V2L function, and customers can select which equipment to use as an additional power source.
• Main Load Relay
  Enhanced reliability for black starts, to return power to home when solar power returns after the battery has been drained by long outages.
