FranklinWH Home Energy Management System is an innovative smart home energy solution. The aPower2 battery

The aPower 2 is the cutting-edge second-generation home energy battery within the FranklinWH energy ecosystem, storing energy from solar, grid, generator, and EV. A single aPower 2 can power your entire home day and night or during outages. Whether powering a home, a small business, or even a farm, the system can dynamically adjust to align with your evolving energy needs without overhauling your system.

• 15 kWh AC-Coupled LFP Energy Storage
  High-density lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry delivers long cycle life, improved thermal stability, and enhanced safety compared to NMC-based systems.

• Integrated 10 kW Continuous / 15 kW Surge Inverter
  Built-in bidirectional inverter provides 10 kW continuous output with up to 15 kW surge capability (10 seconds), enabling true whole-home backup including large loads.

• 120/240V Split-Phase Output (Single-Phase)
  Native split-phase architecture supports standard U.S. residential electrical systems without the need for external transformers.

• AC-Coupled Architecture for Retrofit or New Solar
  Designed for seamless integration with existing solar inverters or new PV systems, allowing flexible system design and simplified interconnection.

• High System Scalability
  Supports expansion up to 15 batteries per aGate controller, enabling total system capacities up to 225 kWh for large homes or light commercial applications.

• Advanced Battery Management System (BMS)
  Integrated BMS continuously monitors cell voltage, temperature, current, and state of charge to optimize performance and protect system longevity.

• High Environmental & Ingress Protection Ratings
  Battery pack rated up to IP67 with wiring enclosure rated IP56, supporting indoor or outdoor installations in demanding environments.

• Low Acoustic Profile
  Designed for residential settings with quiet operation (~30 dBA typical), suitable for garages, utility rooms, or exterior wall mounting.

• Grid-Forming & Backup-Ready Operation
  Capable of islanding during outages and maintaining stable voltage and frequency for critical and whole-home loads.

• Certified for U.S. Interconnection & Safety Standards
  Compliant with UL 9540, UL 1973, UL 1741 (PCS & SB), IEEE 1547, FCC Part 15, and UN 38.3 for transport and installation.

  Backed by a 15-year or 60 MWh throughput warranty, reflecting long design life and confidence in LFP chemistry.

Product Overview - aGate

• Smart Circuits Module
  Manual or scheduled control over unique individual electric circuits connected with particular devices, managed via the FranklinWH App.
• Generator Module
  Integrate generators into home power supply, alongside aPower, solar systems, and the grid. This module also supports V2L function, and customers can select which equipment to use as an additional power source.
• Main Load Relay
  Enhanced reliability for black starts, to return power to home when solar power returns after the battery has been drained by long outages.
