Module-Level Rapid Shutdown for Two Solar Modules
The Tigo TS4-A-2F is a module-level rapid shutdown device designed to add fire-safety functionality to new or existing PV systems. One TS4-A-2F connects to two solar modules, helping reduce the number of rapid shutdown devices required across an array while providing reliable module-level shutdown. When used with a Tigo RSS Transmitter or an inverter with a built-in Tigo-certified transmitter, the TS4-A-2F supports NEC 2017 and 2020 690.12 rapid shutdown requirements.
Key Benefits:
-
Rapid Shutdown for Two Modules: One TS4-A-2F connects to two PV modules, providing module-level rapid shutdown functionality while simplifying system installation.
-
Supports High-Current Solar Modules: Rated for up to 20A Imp and 25A Isc per input, making it compatible with bifacial and other high-current PV modules.
-
Automatic Safety Response: Uses PLC signaling from the RSS Transmitter to enable module output. If the keep-alive signal is lost, the TS4 reduces module and string voltage to safe levels.
-
Simple, Flexible Installation: Integrated spring clips allow the TS4-A-2F to attach directly to a standard solar module frame, or the clips can be removed for mounting directly to PV racking.
-
Built for Outdoor PV Systems: Features an IP68 outdoor rating, a wide operating temperature range, 99.9% efficiency, and a 25-year warranty for long-term system reliability.
Use Case:
Ideal for residential, commercial, and larger PV installations that require module-level rapid shutdown.
