PRICE, STOCK AND DELIVERY
Solar panel price, warehouse stock and freight
Use product price per watt for an equipment comparison, then include freight, racking, inverter equipment, electrical work, permits, and installation when estimating the complete project cost.
Will Call warehouse pickup is available by appointment. Schedule pickup before arrival because inventory location and release timing vary by model. Freight estimates apply to standard lower-48 destinations and may change for limited-access sites, residential liftgate service, remote ZIP codes, or multiple pallets. Solar Panel FAQ
Answers to common questions about solar panel pricing, sizing, technology, compatibility, stock and freight.
How much do solar panels cost?
Panel cost depends on wattage, brand, cell technology, purchase quantity and country of assembly. Use the price-per-watt figure on each product card to compare equipment value. Freight, racking, inverter equipment, permits and installation are separate project costs.
How many solar panels do I need?
Start with 12 months of electricity use in kWh. Divide annual use by the expected yearly production from 1 kW of solar in your location, then divide the resulting system watts by panel wattage. For example, an 8 kW array uses about 18 panels at 450W. Roof area, shade, inverter limits and future loads can change the final count.
Can I buy individual panels instead of a pallet?
Yes, selected models are available by piece or with a small minimum order quantity. Other models are full-pallet only because factory pallet packaging reduces freight damage and lowers per-panel cost. Check the Purchase format and quantity shown on each product card.
What is the difference between 410W, 450W and 550W solar panels?
Higher wattage means more rated output per module, but 550W panels are usually physically larger than 410W or 450W residential modules. Home roofs often use 410W-450W panels for easier layouts, while commercial and ground-mount projects use 550W and larger modules to reduce module count. Compare dimensions, voltage, current and weight as well as wattage.
Are bifacial solar panels worth it?
Bifacial panels can add rear-side production when mounted above a reflective surface with enough clearance. They are often useful for ground mounts, carports and light-colored commercial roofs. Rear-side gain is usually limited on a dark roof with flush-mounted modules, so evaluate the site rather than relying on a best-case bifacial gain claim.
Is TOPCon better than mono PERC?
N-type TOPCon modules generally offer higher efficiency, a lower temperature coefficient and lower long-term degradation than older mono PERC modules. Mono PERC can still be a good value when roof or ground area is not constrained. Compare price per watt, module dimensions, warranty and warranted end-of-life output.
Which solar panels are best for a home roof?
Most home roofs use 410W-450W modules that fit residential racking layouts without the larger footprint of commercial panels. Choose a model that matches available roof area, structural limits, inverter input specifications, rapid-shutdown design and local permitting requirements.
How much is pallet freight?
Freight to the lower 48 states typically ranges from $350 to $550 per pallet, depending on destination and delivery requirements. Limited-access locations, residential liftgate service, remote ZIP codes and multiple pallets can change the final charge. Freight and sales tax are calculated at checkout.
Where are the panels stocked?
Solar panel orders are fulfilled from available US warehouses in California, New Jersey and Texas. Will Call pickup is available by appointment. Confirm the warehouse and release time before pickup because inventory location varies by model. Typical lower-48 freight transit is 5-8 business days after warehouse release.
How do I match solar panels with an inverter?
Match the array open-circuit voltage, operating voltage, short-circuit current and operating current to the inverter's MPPT limits under local temperature conditions. Also confirm connector type, string length, rapid-shutdown requirements and DC-to-AC ratio. A qualified designer or installer should approve the final string plan.
Panel availability, price, freight requirements, certifications, warranty terms, pallet quantity, module dimensions and electrical specifications vary by exact product. Confirm the current product documentation before purchase or installation.
